“Oh, Beautiful” Book Signing Set for June 5 at El Segundo Author Fair
COME MEET THE AUTHOR of Oh, Beautiful: An American Family in the 20th Century when he will be chatting with library patrons and signing books at the 11th Annual El Segundo Author Fair this Sunday, June 5, from 12:45 to 2:10 p.m.
Beyond the book signings and sales, there will be children’s programs, poetry readings, author panels, goody bags, live music, and gourmet food trucks to satisfy mind, body, and soul. The good times will roll until 4:45 p.m. Sunday at the El Segundo Public Library at 111 W. Mariposa Avenue, at Mariposa and Main, in El Segundo, California.
One of 35 authors selected to appear at the fair, John Paul Godges will be joined by the likes of Lisa Napoli, author of Radio Shangri-La: What I Learned in Bhutan; Christopher Farnsworth, author of The President’s Vampire: Strange-but-True Tales of the United States of America; and Anni Daulter, author of Organically Raised: Conscious Cooking for Babies and Toddlers.
“There will be poets, novelists, historians, mystery writers, travel writers, cooks, memoirists, and more,” said Godges. “What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon!”
